Carmelita, located in the Cayo District of Belize, is a scenic two hour drive from the international airport (BZE) . Driving along the Western Highway, you'll know you're in Cayo when the flat savannah near the national capital of Belmopan gives way to the rolling foothills of the Maya Mountains, large citrus groves and pastoral Mennonite farms.
